Learn how to manually check in a vendor at a facility workstation. Manual check-ins are useful if a kiosk isn't working correctly or if you need to do a vendor scan override.
To check in a vendor manually
- On your facility dashboard, search for the vendor you want to check in and go to their profile. You can also find the vendor under Vendor Scans Today or in the Vendors tab.
- On the vendor's profile select Check In.
- Select the zone you want to check the vendor into, and then select Continue.

If the scan was successful, the vendor is checked in and a badge is printed.
If the scan was not successful, you can view vendor scan error descriptions or learn how to do a vendor scan override.
Tip If you made a mistake during check in, you can perform a spot check to check the vendor into a different zone.

If you want to check a vendor out, select the vendor again and then select Check Out.
Note It's not always mandatory to check a vendor out, and the system may be configured to automatically check a vendor out after a set amount of time or at 12:00AM the next day.
