Adding a vendor lockout prevents a vendor from being able to check in at a facility. You can create a vendor lockout indefinitely or for a specific time period.
Note To add a vendor lockout, you need access to the Lockout Managers role. To request access, contact a facility administrator.
To add a vendor lockout
- Go to a vendor's profile.
- Select the Lockout tab.
Select New Vendor Lockout > Yes.
The lockout is not active yet. Continue to the next step.
- On the new lockout at the top of the Lockout History list, select View.
Select Active.
If you don't configure any other options, the lockout begins immediately and continues indefinitely.- To set a specific start date and end date for the lockout, configure these options:
- Starts: select the date and time you want the lockout to start
- Ends: select the date and time you want the lockout to end
- Auto Activate: select the checkbox to apply the Start date
- Auto Deactivate: select the checkbox to apply the End date
- Notify Vendor on Auto Activate: select the checkbox to notify the vendor on the start date that the lockout has started
- Notify Vendor on Auto Deactivate: select the checkbox to notify the vendor on the end date that the lockout has ended
- Add any facility or public notes:
- Facility notes: notes that are visible to only facility staff
- Public notes: notes that are visible to the vendor if you have selected the vendor to be notified about a lockout
- To manually notify the vendor about the lockout, select Notify Vendor. A notification and the notes entered in the Public Notes field are immediately sent to the vendor.
- To view previous vendor lockouts for this vendor, select View Logs.
