Every health facility requires vendors to have a specific set of credentials in order to successfully check in and access the facility. Different credentials are required for different levels of access.

View vendor credentials required at your facility
- On the Green Security facility dashboard, select Credentials.
- In the Required Credentials tab, a list of credentials is displayed.
- An X in the Level 2A, Level 2B, or Level 3 column indicates the credential is required for that level of access.
- An X in the Applies to Company column indicates that the credential is applicable at a company level instead of at the individual vendor level.
- An X in the Level 2A, Level 2B, or Level 3 column indicates the credential is required for that level of access.
- You can use filters to view vendor groups credentials or company credentials:
- To view credentials required for specific vendor groups, select Show vendor group credentials.
- To view credentials required for specific company groups, select Show company credentials.
- Select a credential to view its description and any policy documents or forms associated with it.
About access levels
| Access level | Description |

| Non-Clinical Contractor: Level 2A | Does not access patient care areas. Does not participate in patient care. Does not provide technical assistance. Does not operate equipment. Does not consult with patient care staff of clinicians. Examples for members of this level include (but are not limited to) temporary service workers, service delivery personnel, contractors, subcontractors, and equipment installers. |
| Non-Clinical Vendor: Level 2B | Provides products and services. Not present when care is administered. Access to non-surgical areas. Access to non-invasive areas. Prescribes information. Gives operating instructions. Reviews charts. Does not operate equipment. Does not attend procedures with patients. Examples for vendors of this level include (but are not limited to) Pharmaceutical Reps, Hospital Consultants, Laboratory Vendors, Vendors who focus on Case Management, Nursing Services, Home Health Care Reps, Durable Medical Equipment Reps, etc. |
| Clinical Vendor/Contractor: Level 3 | Services in clinical support roles. Operates equipment. Provides technical support. Demonstrates proper product assembly/use/care. Attends procedures with patients. Required to be in surgery areas. Required to be in invasive areas. Handles patient sensitive materials. Pharmaceutical vendors that enter patient care areas. Examples for vendors of this level include (but are not limited to) Medical Device Sales Reps, Biomaterials Sales Reps, Capital Equipment Sales Reps, etc. |
