If a vendor cannot check in because they have not met credentialing requirements, a facility or system user can add a vendor scan override. The override allows the vendor to check in to the facility within a set duration. Overrides can only be added during a manual check in.
Note To add a vendor scan override, you need access to the Vendor Scan Managers role. To request access, contact a facility administrator.
To add a vendor scan override

Go to a vendor's profile.
Tip Recent failed vendor scans appear in red under Vendor Scans Today. You can select a scan and then select View Vendor to go to their profile and add an override.
- On the vendor's profile, select Check In.
- Select the zone you want to check the vendor into, and then select Continue.
- Select Add Override.
- Enter a duration. The vendor can use the override to check in any time within the duration you enter here.

In the Notes field, you can enter the reason you're adding the override.
Tip Green Security logs who is adding an override, so you don't need to enter your name here.

Select Add Override.
The vendor scan override is added. Instruct the vendor to check in at the kiosk. Or, if you have a printer to print a badge and want to proceed with a manual check in, select continue with checkin here.
