Spot checks are used to check that a visitor has access to enter a specific zone within the facility, or to check the visitor in again with a new badge in case their security check status has changed.
For example, a parent may check into a hospital facility as a visitor but then need to pass a spot check to enter the NICU. A visitor must already be checked into the facility before they can pass a spot check.
To spot check a visitor
- Scan the visitor's badge. Or to find the visitor manually, on your dashboard select Visitors and then select View next to the visitor you want to spot check.
- Check the visitor in again or move the visitor to a different zone
- To check the visitor in and print a new badge, go to the bottom of the Visitor Check-In Details page select Check In Visitor or Vendor.
- To move the visitor to different zone, find the visitor's Current Zone and select change. Enter any notes you have about the zone change and select Continue.
