Account notifications alert the user when a specific event takes place in a specific zone. You can configure the events and zones you want to be notified about.
You can choose to receive text notifications, email notifications, or both. The notifications are sent to the email and phone number entered on the your user profile page. If you want to receive notifications by text, you need to provide consent to receive SMS notifications.

Select events and zones to be notified about
- In the Green Security Facility portal, select your email address or name to go to your profile.
- On your profile, select the Zones tab.
- Select the Vendor Scans, Visitor Checkins, and Visitor Requests tabs to set up notifications for each category of events.
- In a tab (for example, the Vendor Scans tab), locate the event types and zones you want to be notified about, and then select text or email or both options.
In the above screenshot, the user will receive a text and email notification every time there is a successful vendor scan in the zone 2nd Floor Nursing.
Provide consent to receive SMS notifications
If your account is configured to receive SMS notifications, but you haven't provided consent, you will be notified by a banner on your dashboard.
To provide consent to receive SMS notifications
- Select your email address or account name or select the link in the SMS notification consent banner to go to your profile.
- On the General tab of your profile page, select Provide SMS Consent.

Select I Accept.
You have now provided consent. You can remove consent at any time by visiting the General tab of your profile and selecting Remove Consent.
