You can request appointments with vendors, facility users, and departments. You can set the appointment to take place all day, stand for a set period of time, or take place on a specific date at a specific time.
To request a new appointment
- On the Green Security facility dashboard, select Calendar.
- Select New Event.
- On the Request Appointment page, enter a reason for the appointment. This will also appear as the appointment name.
- Select Standing Appointment, All day, or leave the boxes clear to set a specific appointment time:
- Standing Appointment: the appointment stands for a time period set by a facility admin. The default time period is six weeks
- All day: Enter the date or dates the appointment will take place
Clear (no selection): Enter a specific date and time the appointment will take place
Note If you set an appointment that lasts more than three days, the appointment is automatically converted to a Standing Appointment that lasts for the number of days you set.
- Invite people or departments to the appointment.
- To invite people: In the Search for People tab enter a person's name, facility, or company and then select the person to invite
- To invite a department: In the View Directory tab select a facility, select a department, and then select a department to invite. You can also invite specific people in the department
- Next to Location, select a facility or department where the appointment will take place.
- (Optional) Enter any notes you want to add to the appointment request.
Select Request Appointment.
The appointment appears on your calendar, and an email notification about your appointment request is sent to the invitee.
When the invitee responds, you will receive an email notification.
